As a proud mom, I made a post on Facebook about my daughter being president next year.

I can truly see who is genuinely happy for her. Sadly, some teachers who are also parents of children who ran for the same or different roles don’t seem happy about her leading the school next year. People who used to greet us no longer even look our way. Moments like this really show you who is there for you and who isn’t when you achieve something.

So crab mentality does exist everywhere.

Falsely kind people. Their masks slip all the time. They feign compassion, friendship, an entire array of human qualities when they believe they are above others. The moment they’re not, those behaviors showcase themselves for what they always were. Fake virtue points they pretended to harbor and stockpile. Learning who is real vs. who is fake is a great blessing, Most go on ignorant to who people really are. The fact that you get to know, puts you at a tremendous advantage with where to put your time and energy, and where not to bother.

Those types are only transactional. So if you ever feel the need to be with them, just know it’s 100% give and take with them. And they’ll likely only focus on deals that bother to benefit themselves far more than it would benefit you.
