"My loved one is not a criminal"
Yea....well, we all know this.
We all know your loved one was kidnapped and will likely be trafficked to a place they have never been. ...or a place where they are in grave danger.
But I am not sure how these people expect us to have empathy and sympathy for them? They voted for this.
They will say "but i wanted safe borders"....
It is all mythical. Yes. You were lied to. Manipulated. Used. And you continue to be ignorant to what is truly happening. It only matters now because you are finally affected by your own vote.
I am a bleeding heart liberal human being who cares about the world and the people who live on this planet. I do not wish harm on anyone. I want us to fight hard to stop what is happening and if I were able to be the badass vigilante I fantasize about being....I'd save every last person I could NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE AND HOW THEY VOTED.
BUT I can't say the same for others. Every man for himself seems to be the societal norm these days. Those on the right would not extend the same sentiment. They would watch us drown and only cry if they got splashed with water.
I won't give them the empathy and sympathy they want. I will simply fight for everyone to be freed of tyranny and they can rot in their own self sabotage.
