I am reading a book right now that all of you should read: The Betrayal of Anne Frank: A cold case investigation. This explores who turned the 8 people hiding in the annex in.
Last night I read about how people in the Netherlands believed that even if Germany invaded the Netherlands they wouldn't treat the Jews like they were in Germany.
Reports about the camps were dismissed, mostly. Even if they were true....they wouldn't do that in the Netherlands. Wouldn't happen there!
In the war, the Netherlands was the place that lost the highest percentage of Jewish humans.
Lets look at something people denied more recently:
The thing about fiction is that it comes from lived experiences. Yes. Authors pull from experince. If you think those stories of girls being sent to homes when they became pregnant out of wedlock were fictional, you might be delusional.
These babies were so shameful that nuns threw their bodies in an old sewage tank. Like garbage.
Like garbage. And the Nuns of today denied, denied, denied. Citizens shunned the historian. Called her names.
She was right. They knew this. They didnt want her telling others. Because that meant that the people of today had to own what the people of yesterday did.
Yea. We may not have been present. ..but some of us were alive ... The mothers of those babies they are alive still. The nuns who denied being to blame were likely alive just before or after. Within our lifetime babies were let to die and were tossed in a sewage tank.
To hell with everyone who cannot face the past. Who cannot learn from it. To hell with those hellbent to repeat the same atrocities over and over.
This should be the end of those homes and honeslty there is no holy ground where babies have been left to die and rot in a sewage tank. That is NOT GOD. THAT IS EVIL. DOING THE WORK.OF EVIL!
The real sin is religion. A sin on humanity. Hate ...a sin on humanity. Ignorance. Hate. Religion. These are the real sins.
