I Have Something to Say

Meryl Streep was my favorite actress of all time...now she's spoilt my enjoyment of watching her movies. Couldn't she just accept her Lifetime Achievement award (and deservedly so) without politicizing the event, and offending half of her fans with her hate speech? Couldn't she just be gracious without bringing politics into it?

These people don't realize that many of their fans have different views, and when you start with the divisive speech, you alienate those fans from you.

The left have to ruin everything. I can't even watch the news anymore...something I looked forward to every day...but it's so biased, I just couldn't take it, and now that's gone.

Report the news, accept your awards, but leave the political correctness and bias out of it.

I think she's an amazing actress, but she's gone over my personal line.

I'm tired of this hate cr*p and tantrums. They need to grow up and tolerateTrump, just like half the population had to tolerate Obama for 8-years.

@Carissimi: Why should people tolerate racial hatred, misogyny, religious intolerance, bigotry, cyber-bullying, etc.? Shouldn't there be some limits to what we should tolerate?

@windinhishair: People should not tolerate any of those you listed, and that's why I thank God Trump won. We have had to tolerate it for 8-years.

@windinhishair: Would you care to share his statements that denoted racial hatred etc? Securing our borders is not racial hatred. It's love of country and protecting its citizens. Trump is not opposed to immigrants as long as they are legal.

He's said that Mexicans are rapists and criminals and that a judge of Mexican ancestry (though born in Indiana) is incapable of being an impartial judge, based solely on his ancestry. Even Paul Ryan said that was the textbook definition of a racist comment. He promoted violence against black protesters at his rallies and said he'd pay for any costs incurred by supporters who beat them up. His whole campaign was based on stirring up racial division.

Trump has also said he's against islamic immigration to this country, legal or not. He wants a Muslim registry that would target millions of law-abiding people, solely based on their religion.

I have news for you. Trump doesn't love his country. He loves himself. Period. He's playing his supporters and will drop them in a minute when it suits his needs.

@windinhishair: Some illegals coming into the country are rapists and criminals, that's a documented fact. No, let me change that. All illegal aliens ARE criminals because they broke federal immigration law.
