News of the Stupid

Trump supporters are pushing this AI generated image around as real.

They vehemently believe this is real. It can be debunked by simply looking at the man's schedule and where he was for the past few days...but...you know...it makes them feel good and validated so when they are told...even by their own cult that it isn't real..they still do not listen.

AI is stellar for CONFIRMATION BIAS.

*Trump has a difficult time walking down and up stairs.
*He never wears anything in public that is not an oversized suit.
* He does not want to shake hands with his own fan base. He has been reported to have mocked them and called them dirty. He would NEVER step foot in flood waters ...not EVER...that would be beneath him.
* He tossed paper towels at people after the hurricane that occurred during his presidency. That was before AI ..there were no photos of Trump "out there helping"

....so where are those photos? He only decided to help for this hurricane? The last one he only had energy to toss some paper towels?

It might be funny if it were not so mind bendingly stupid and dangerous to have a good portion of a society brainwashed out of their minds.

What would make me suspicious is why he'd be there going paddling anyway, irrespective of the reality of the image, or his politics.

The last thing rescuers and rescuees want is politicians including presidents and presidential candidates (or anyone else) with no local knowledge let alone technical rescue skills, wandering around and probably getting in the way just for their own publicity.

The best that senior politicians in post - not candidates - should do at a disaster site is view it from safe positions while being briefed by the rescuers, local council officials and utility managers on what they need.
