...blocked by 13 people in the last 2 weeks, I believe that's a record for me.

Sad to see a few people I thought had a healthy rapport with me, but alas.

I gotta be me. Good riddance to you all. I've blocked you in return so don't come crawling back.

You can't really hold people to too high a standard. Yeah it can be annoying when people block but one almost has to expect it.

Discussions on politics and religion never end well.
Sadly though, EVERYthing is politicized nowadays.
It used to be about how your taxes were spent, overseas wars, policies, better schools, more police...

Now it is about politicians hurling childish insults at each other.

@Punches My issue was with a small subset of these people with whom I thought I had developed a rapport with and we could discuss charged political issues without taking it personally.

I was very disappointed to see a couple of people I have spoken to for years about politics suddenly block me when they got frustrated. I thought we were past that.

@SumKindaMunster If I may ask, what was the issue that caused them to block? I understand if you prefer not to say.

It is kind of bull that they would block after having communicated for a few years.

I look at it like this - there's a few on here that I strongly disagree with their political views, BUT I don't block over that because if people block each other, it kind of defeats the purpose of being on a forum.
