Honestly, I think the Hebrews were there first. And millennia before Islam arose. Yet the Bible did say the Hebrews conquered the land, and drove out other people.
I doubt any people live where they originally arose. Conquest likely was rampant. I hope someday there is one world nation and all are citizens and treated equally and fairly. There will be no claims to land based on nationalism, but based on contracts and titles. At the same time, criminals and terrorists need to be dealt with.
Of course past injustices should be remedied, if practical. But how far back does one go?

It is all nuts to focus so much spiritual attention to a specific place, given they all believe God is everywhere at all times.

Yup. Not much talk about how the U.S. pushed yet another group of people off the land. Small difference is the it was done for a different group.
