I have questions!

I’m not new to SW, I just haven’t been active. A lot has changed or maybe it just new to me although I’m a veteran from the EP days.

Are all of the profiles on here really real people? Are the women that say they are women really women or are they men pretending to be women? Is the guy that keeps emailing saying he’s a Nigerian prince wanting to send me some money I’ve inherited really a prince? Are the pictures people post really of themselves or are they just googling them?

I need answers. Anyways, have a lovely Wednesday.

Can't speak 100% for others (though I have opinions on many profiles lol)
As for me, am definitely female and my pictures are of me unfiltered. Hidden a lot of them for work reasons. Came here from EP.
As with anywhere online, use lots of caution and common sense.

@SW-User I left EP in 2009 when they allowed a group called "I Hate My Wife/Girlfriend" complete with men giving descriptions of their murder fantasies. I returned in 2015 to see if things had improved, but was told by one user that EP had become -- in her words -- "the worst troll haven on the internet". SW may have inherited the trolls...

@SW-User Wow. I don’t ever recall seeing that group. I believe in free speech but people should be able to yell “fire” in a crowded room.

@SW-User People feel a need for a "safe" place to vent, and I sympathize with anyone who has relationship trouble... However, the internet isn't safe, and whatever gets posted involving revenge fantasies and/or violence, may trigger someone (particularly abuse victims). I'm absolutely not for censorship, but personally, I have no stomach for hate talk.
