I have questions!

I’m not new to SW, I just haven’t been active. A lot has changed or maybe it just new to me although I’m a veteran from the EP days.

Are all of the profiles on here really real people? Are the women that say they are women really women or are they men pretending to be women? Is the guy that keeps emailing saying he’s a Nigerian prince wanting to send me some money I’ve inherited really a prince? Are the pictures people post really of themselves or are they just googling them?

I need answers. Anyways, have a lovely Wednesday.

No they are not. There are some good people, but there are a lot of trolls too. As for all accounts being real that is a no too. A lot of people have multiple accounts. One user admitted to having 62 accounts. About half the accounts claiming to be women are really men looking for attention. Just be careful on here. Don't give out any personal information and never post or share a picture of yourself on here.

@Musicman Good advice. Notice how few people put on pictures. Be wary.

You can tell a little by the forums that are joined.

@SW-User You can tell a lot by the forums. I start at the oldest forums first. They usually reveal who the person really is.

@Musicman 62 accounts???? My gracious, where does one person get the time to manage that many, I wonder. I would suspect a professional scammer.

@SW-User I agree with you. I do believe that certain people are paid to troll sites. Especially around election time.
