why do people put milk in tea? you aren't supposed to do that in my opinion it's weird

you can add sugar or honey but that's it no milk or cream or anything of that nature it's gross to me and isn't how tea is meant to be

So basically it makes it easier on their stomach and also lessens the effect on the teeth. Also some people like creamy taste and texture. Also some people are overly sensitive to bitter and it helps with that.

That's pretty much the reason.
