Wearing a pink shirt

If a man or boy wears a pink shirt...

It means nothing.

Nothing at all.

It means the dude is wearing a pink shirt.
That is it.

It doesn't mean they are gay or LGBTQ+ or Trans or Queer or anything of that nature. It doesn't mean they are cross dressing.

When people speak about inherent bias..this is a GREAT example.

Pink is for girls
Blue is for boys

No. These colors are not inherently feminine or masculine...these biased ideologies surrounding the gender of the color of clothing is a societal label.

Society created this rule...inherently most people accept it as a fact ..inherently pink is girly...

But it is not. You just can't get past that which society has drilled into your brain.

Exactly! I remember buying such a light pink printed shirt for my hubby when my son was in preschool. And my in-laws made so much fun of him saying he looks gay and whatnot….he never wore that shirt again.
