Can someone explain to me

Like I am 5...

Why it is that those with emotions and feelings and heart and caring ...are the ones who are mocked, laughed at and labeled as crazy...the "SJWs" of the world...

While the ones who are cruel, angry and hateful assholes are labeled as the right way to be?

Someone tell me like I am not fully aware of why and like I am a little naive.

Honestly because I want to hear the justifications...i want to understand them.

We all see the would from our own perspective and through our own tinted glasses.

You are strong in the "EQ" sense. You [b] feel[/b] deeply. There is nothing wrong with that, but there are a lot of people who will not understand that.

When faced with something or someone we don't understand, some of us react and reject, others seek understanding. This is true from both sides of the spectrum, but those who react and reject make much more noise.

So people who do not understand your compassion and your feelings, will be split between those who seek to understand you and those who loudly reject you.

Conversely, someone who approaches the world without your compassion and emotion, but rather from a perspective of logic and personal responsibility is often (and loudly) rejected as being heartless and cold by some.

What we need is more ability to temporarily put aside our own perspectives and seek to understand others before forming opinions about them.

When I come across someone with very different views, I always try to seek understanding. I find myself stuck in the middle on many spectrum. I'm too liberal for the Republicans and too conservative for the Democrats. I tend to lead with logical analysis, but my heart floods my head all too often with emotions depending on the circumstances. So I get accused of being too emotional sometimes and of being cold and heartless other times. 🤷‍♀️
