Something is wrong with you if you believe that statistic. There are men who believe such a thing, but it's not in the 52% range (... and remember, we have to put with equally thinking women).

I believe in God, but I don't believe he creates one gender superior to the other. Now there is authority of a husband over his wife, but that is constituted authority with all the limits that implies, and it doesn't imply superiority or allowing one "lording" over someone.
On a separate note, belief or not belief doesn't relieve someone's responsibility under God's laws.

First, it's a statistic, not a bible so that you can choose whether or not you're going to believe in it.
Second, I do believe that because everywhere on the Internet you can see a bunch of sexist comments.
Third, even in the real world I met a great number of people who openly (and there's probably as twice as much people who are thinking about it but not expressing it openly) discuss this and talk about women as if the only thing they are made for is being in the kitchen, giving birth and "complaining".

Sorry if it came off unduly harsh, I didn't mean it as a knock on you - but what I'm saying is that I would be very suspicious of the 52% statistic. Any statistic's value or credibility is based on the accuracy of how the data was gathered, and any amateur statistician will tell you that most of these statistics are gathered in ways that make the results invalid. Just saying.

Hopeless Romantic - not sure what you are saying, but that's not what the Bible is referring to. That said, if Jesus came down from heaven and told you anything, you'd respond immediately - and if you rebel against Him, that won't end well (you got that part right).

I'm single for this reason. I seriously wouldn't have the men around me. They're all the Bible says women should submit to their husbands. 😠 I'm faithful and respectful but hell no! Anyone who tries to argue a point with the Bible is automatically ignored by me most of the time.

I didn't say I didn't respect your beliefs or to your right to them. I only say that in the end, not believing won't be an excuse. I respect everyone's right to their beliefs.

I mention it because atheists like to think that because they don't believe, that it doesn't impact them. But it does... to their surprise, but even so.

My point is: You can't stop doing something just because something bad *might* happen. In the case of dating, just don't date someone you don't know very well. It's usually pretty easy to spot a sexist piece of shit.

Well, I think you might actually date a lot of these "assholes". I think you will enjoy there protective side, the fact that they put you in your place when your testing there boundaries will make you feel safe. The fact that they feel as if they are superior will give them attractive, secure and confident body language. The fact that they fix problems instead of dumping them on you will be something your gonna greatly appreciate. With regards to the males themselves, if they start believe a woman is equal to males, there road manginery, solitude, never ending virginety and self defeating behavior in terms of dating will be almost guaranteed.
