I am going to leave

This place by the end of the month.

While there are people here I would love to keep in touch with ..I cannot stay here.

Truthfully, it was good for awhile and now it isn't.

I refuse to continue paying for a VIP that affords me nothing except admins who ignore the basics of moderation. I have blocked many to keep my own peace and when it becomes clear that I am blocking more than I am not...it is time to end the insanity.

I am a little sad. I have some dear friends here. EP and SW were places I needed and during times I really needed people to understand me and I found those people through these sites. I found people who helped me realize my own talents and abilities. I will forever remember and be grateful for that.

I feel the joy has been sucked out of my life. I feel that this place....and the world of social media entirely has helped to suck the joy from my life in the last 5 years...and I think it is time I take all this shit back....find my joy and purpose, and find meaning.

Anyway..if you don't care, fine by me..but if you do and we need to coordinate a good way to communicate aside from here...please contact me through DM so we can.

Couldn’t agree more about this site and the way it’s getting worse by the day, Jags. I told Rutters the same thing bout VIP…seems like a waste of money when the admins don’t listen to any of our suggestions. For most of us here, that top banner of users on the feed is equally repulsive….and it’s overwhelming to know who is online, watching us, whatever…ughh! I wish they’d never put that feature in there or the feeds update. 😒

Even blocking a user for a month after reporting the user’s post/comment is absolute bonkers! All I see is tumbleweed out here…

That said, I really appreciate you and your friendship….and wish you didn’t leave. 😞 In fact I was just telling another friend to not leave …girl, I think I should just log off…seems like my Sunday morning isn’t looking that good anymore 😩

@Vivaci I am going to slowly delete my posts that matter and any photos. My VIP is up at the end of this month and I don't want to buy it again and the opening of the flood gates of my block list is a moment I do not want to be around for!

I will contact you for a good way to keep in touch. I depend on this place too much and must force myself to step back into my world.

Don’t delete posts, just hide them or make them private. That’s what I’ve done mostly.

Same…but I notice a lot of negativity, bullying, people with zero emotional intelligence and toxic posts here….and that kills my vibe.

Maybe go through that blocked list and remove users that are no longer active. Most of the trolls open temp accounts to harass…so there’s that.

@Vivaci I have not been harrassed for a long time that finally stopped a long while ago but I see someone else here being harrassed and ...
I noticed the other day that admins are hiding certain comments they don't like on their posts. I had 3 witnesses. And i have screenshots. They took away my comments and subsequently anyones that responded to me.

@JaggedLittlePill This reminds me of EP in its last few months…I was similarly harassed there by trolls and the admins didn’t do anything bout it. Ughhh…

I wish I was there yday when that happened….for some reason I’m not able to see my friends posts so it’s easy to miss out on so many posts…😕

This is not a safe space for anyone. When someone gets bullied to the point they want to unalive themselves, there is an issue.

@Vivaci I made a post expressing that I thought the new feature of auto blocking an account after a few reports were made was the wrong move.

I found an album of pictures of an underage girl and men were commenting on the photos. I reported a few pictures and I was blocked from the profile. I should have started with the comments from the men first. Why they would be telling a girl that looked about 13-14 how beautiful (etc) she is was so inappropriate. This account was an adult account but mentioned they were underage.

I expressed that it felt like the Admins just did not want reports and they were protecting the pedophiles. The first post I made was hidden. The second post I took out key words and it got some traction and then it was taken down and I received a message.

I saw @JaggedLittlePill’s comment removed off of the post that admin made making a joke about inflation and how the price of VIP has stayed the same. I replied to her and her comment is deleted and mine remained.

This is not a safe space for people. I am thinking of leaving as well.
