I couldn't find the aircon remote I want to switch the heater on.

I think my husband hid the remote so I would use the fireplace instead of the aircon to save power.

@GunFinger I am jealous. I wish there was a place to put one with a chimney. You can heat water for tea or reheat food on top of it too. We had one at work and would bake sweet potatoes, cooked a turkey one time, put a Dutch oven with a roast and veggies over the coals and let it cook overnight, and roast nuts in the shell on top of it.

@cherokeepatti we haven't tried that. That would be good. We light the wood up and wait for it to rage. I only remember keeping something warm on top years ago.

@GunFinger well with the utility rates going up so much it might be a good time to do it again. Hope you have a lot of firewood.
