For those who care…

Eye surgery went well. I’m still trying to fully recover from anesthesia. That takes me a few days.

My face is swollen and my eye is all blurry. It will be a month until my eye starts to be normal again.

So I’m just chilling and listening to podcasts.

Sorry things aren't so great right now, but it's great that the surgery went well and that your eye will be better, even though it takes a month to heal.

@ChipmunkErnie I’m a teacher. Technically without pay. I just get my salary spread over all year.

@Dewkissedrose Nice. Around here the teacher's get paid the months they work but not during summer vacation, so a lot of them get summer jobs, particularly early in their careers when their salaries are at base levels.
