Who lied about the election to the American people ....under oath told the truth.
In private:
They told the President he lost
They all knew he lost.
They told him the things he wanted to do were not legal or possible.
They tried to reel him in and failed.
In public:
They lied.
Stayed loyal to him.
They went along with it despite knowing the danger it was causing.
Many resigned. They should have invoked the 25th.
Pence's life was literally at stake and he refused to invoke the 25th.
They thought threatening to resign was better. Despite having a solid solution which would have left them looking really good.
Why? Why would they risk themselves in this way?
Because they all kind of hoped it might work. They would have gone with it if it had worked.
