The Crumbleys

Do not want all the evidence against their negligence admitted in court.

Among the evidence they want thrown out is their son's diary.

Some of the things written in the teen's diary:

He wanted help. He asked his parents for help. There is further evidence of them ignoring that he was crying out for help.. as the school called them to a meeeting that day. The school told them he needed help. They refused.

He is absolutely responsible for his actions...so are they.

I have been saying similar for a long time. I was a troubled kid. Abusive household. Never to that extreme of hurting others, though. But I hurt myself. Many times. Did teachers help? No. Did my parents help? No. They condemned me. Did my congregation at the time help? No. No one cared. I suffered silently. It is a miracle I am still alive. I give thanks to God and a few select people. That is it.

There are many kids suffering in silence. Many people too. This shit could have been prevented. He is responsible, full on. Yes.

But so is this heartless country.

It makes me sick how easily this could have never happened.

@JaggedLittlePill Yup. But it's the way of the world. Most tragedies are preventable. Even the big ones like 9/11. But what do you expect from a society that doesn't give a damn?

Stupid is as stupid does.
