My teen son...

Is going to be the literal death of me.

He keeps complaining about internet speeds and our internet does cut out a lot.

So he was downloading a game. It was downloading for 7 hours. I told him this is not right and nothing takes that long to download anywhere else in the house on any other digital source...I told him to shut it down and restart the download.

"No that isn't going to work"
"I need an ethernet cable"
"Its the internet!!"

I said ..it is likely frozen up and you need to re-start. After giving me his speech about why he needs an ethernet cable and me asking him if he shut it down and him saying that wouldn't work....

He comes out of his room laughing. ...
"You were right"

Me : *jumping off the couch*
"Wait...wait....what was that?"

"You were right"

Me: *proceeds to dance through the house singing*

"I was right , I was Right...mom knows something too....woo!"

Moms aren't always mentally challenged dinosaurs.

@JaggedLittlePill We parents have to somehow stick together. Kids DO eventually grow up.

I used to always think it was magic when my mum could find something in a press or drawer I couldn't see. Now as a mum myself I know it's just my kids being thick 😂
