Yes , but a gun but most of all,, Train on that gun! I can't stress that fact enough. Learn all you can about it and take it out and train on it... shoot it.. feel the recoil , use different types of ammo (if affordable) and keep it handy.

Any good weapon is much better than a sharp stick!
