Why the hell do people sign up for 60 days in jail ?

People will do anything for fame, even on second-tier reality shows. I never watch the show, but see promos, and have caught bits and pieces when someone else was watching it, and one thing I saw was crazy. Some woman's mother was saying that it would be "good for her" for her daughter to go to jail because she hadn't done anything other than get married young and has a young family. What kind of crazy is that? She's far better with her small children, raising them to be the best that they can be, perhaps going back to school herself for another degree or certification, etc. -- not going on some crappy reality show to experience a correctional institution.
