I'm curious (in a non sarcastic way), how would you define what happened on Jan 6?
We lives through it and saw it on TV. Some came with zip ties or chanted to hang Mike Pence. They fought with Law Enforcement. They broke into the Capitol, smashing windows. They rifled through offices and paperwork looking for Intel. Some mentioned that they may as well start a new government when they were inside. This appears to have been done in opposition to the government functioning and to stop that function. People died, people were hospitalized. I say this as a base point of understanding to start from. How would you define what we all saw?

@Jessichaos What were the CHOP zone protestors? If you say Jan 6 was an insurrection and nothing over the summer involving BLM and ANTIFA was not--- then at the very least, you are a bigot, AND most likely, a racist--- be you white or not. It's as simple as that.

Also, I am not arguing for any justification in whatever BLM/Antifa narrative is being espoused by either side. I am just against white washing Jan 6th as a peaceful exercise and not an attempt to halt the process of government.

@chockaholic2020 Are you saying they faked footage? We can clearly see them trading blows and breaking in by force. It's neither naive or misguided to trust what was not only witnessed on live TV from multiple sources, but also from the perpetrators own phones and cameras. Agree or disagree with the "why" it was done, we need to be able to call a spade a spade her and acknowledge what we all saw happen.
