I Have Something to Say

It's a very real possibility that not all of my friends are going to grow old, which is a very scary thought.

I am old now. And I have already outlived many of my friends. Three of them died in the same year two years ago. It's especially hard to lose long time friends of many decades because you will never again have a friend who knows you that well, through so many shifts and changes in your life. In contrast, other people feel like strangers and you have lost a part of yourself.
