@Tracos It used to be about winning the electoral college votes trough the elections. And then, there was still a little uncertainty because the electoral college can vote for what they think is best. But I'm not sure if it ever happened that the college didn't vote for whom they were "supposed" to vote. If the electoral college ends up being 269 vs 269, the is an entire procedure that makes it goes to the house and the house gets to vote. Which happened 3 times in history [i](apperently)[/i].

but you already understand this cause you said "about certain" well that is the real difference between certain and about not, between officially done and not. At this point imo trump is posturing to keep donations flowing which by his own admission anything under 8k can be used however he pleases
