There is no way in hell
There is no way in hell I am ever moving into a bad area. They will have to take me to court or send in the national guard to take me from my house. I don't care if what I can afford right now is in the ghetto I am not going. It's not my fault that corona is legit messing with my income. My hours have been slashed and it's causing me to fall very behind. I am trying my best but my best isn't cutting it. I'm afraid I will have to pack up and move again. I thought I did a good job picking something far more modest than what I was living in previously and had did just fine before this hit.
I have been looking around at what I can afford "below my means" to keep above the tide and they are all in bad areas. I am not risking my life in those areas to be able to stay afloat. I'd rather drown in a sea of debt than risk walking to my car and getting shot at. I know for a fact they'd steal my car and I would be a target. They would see the types of things I would be moving into my place and would break in and rob me blind. Absolutely not and you can just forget about gardening or doing anything outdoors because it wouldn't be safe to do anything. I could be in the backyard tending to my garden and get prison shanked pruning my roses. No thank you. Unfortunately I might have to move back to Michigan where my money would go further than it does here in New York. Sorry mom but I refuse to go anywhere near Florida at the moment for obvious reasons.
This is why I am hoping things work out and continue to move forward with my partner. He has a fabulous career and can pull me out from the brink of poverty. I don't want to leech off of him but right now I don't seem to have any other choice. We had a fabulous time a few days ago out in the country at his parents country house. I know they don't like me but I'm going to win them over whether they like it or not. It's just annoying knowing your best just isn't good enough. I feel defeated and depressed.
