Aww, I'm sorry. That was a pain that was spared me because my first friend left a few days after befriending me (hopefully nothing I did). Is there any chance your friend will come back? If not, people are noticeably more open here than on EP. It feels like a good time to make new friends.

I'm sorry for you. Did they give you any other way to keep in touch with them? If they didn't, you might try finding them on some of the other sites if they kept their same username.

I think many people didn't give SW a chance, especially since the PM's didn't come up right away. They should have stuck around as it's become a great site now.
