I thought that a boy and a girl can be just friends. But i changed my mind. I had a friend that i met at the beginning of this year. We chatted regularly and we even met once. But it turned out that he wanted to be more than friend. I didn't feel that way so he said that it would be better to stop chatting. The end of story

I have a member of the opposite sex that I'm Friends with that I would absolutely be thrilled if things were different. The whole situation is me Polyamorous with A romantic entanglement with a woman in an open relationship with another woman and my S/O is named alyssa and this is happening at the same time as another crush going back a decade or more named Kim and believe me I'd love to be with Kim if circumstances were different and allowed for it but I don't think she'd put up with Lys (seems more traditional honestly.) and I don't for the life of me understand why a Boy having feelings for a girl makes being "just friends' impossible. Me and Kim have managed that Tension for quiet awhile and believe me she knows i'm into her.

If you two can't be friends he chose not to be and that's on him.

Guys and gals can certainly be just friends. However, it helps if both of them are in a relationship with someone else first. When one or both of them are single, they turn to the most obvious choice to look for a bf/gf.
