I Have Something to Say

People no longer communicate ,sit and talk about likes and dislikes
and I am not sure humans were ever good mind readers .

I was with my first wife 10 yrs and I only heard about the things I did she didn't like about me ,when she was mad at me ,and yelling at me

I would have done anything for her she was my world
But rather then tell me what I needed to fix ,she leaves me and takes my kids
and now she is on husband #4 and still not happy

But she admitted to our kids ,,at my worst ,,I was still better then the other 3 at their best ,,all she had to do was talk to me
I would have done anything for her .

Now here we are ,both of us in our 60's
we get together every holiday with our kids and grandkids
and I listen to some other man complain about what she don't do

And I am the one telling him ,you don't have a clue whats she's been through
but now she don't talk at all except when she is around me and our kids
and we talk about the good times we had, and what we threw away

We could talk to our friends about anything ,but we couldn't talk to each other about things that were destroying our marriage

Probably true, but in my opinion, if someone truly loves, they want to please the object of their love. Given that, someone who truly loves should work hard to learn [b]how[/b] to love.
