@SW-User For a morning, tea, which I dislike. I convinced them, with the docs approval, to replace it with "mate cocido", made with same "Yerba" as argentinian Mate, but prepaired as a tea. Also cookies, recently.
SW-User
@CharlieZ and how do you like this mate cocido thing?
@SW-User I like mate cocido, at least better than tea. By when back home I will replace it by the tradditional "Mate". I will add, by when I can do it again, my homemade yoguhrt with fresh fruits. And also homemade baked cookies.

Good. At least it's manageable. How about milk with tea and cinnamon? Or green tea with mint. Maybe you like it better than plain tea @CharlieZ
@SW-User I´ve tasted most of teas but...I don´t like them. I have, sometimes, herbs teas (some of them from my garden) before lunch, but by that time and only.
I think I will extend having Argentinian Mate to also breakfast. It´s healthy and I love it!

Interesting 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
In Italy they make caffè d'orzo or barley "coffee". It's free of caffeine. The Italians love that stuff
@SW-User An ancestor of mine, from the small Italian branch of my family, used to have it (I have a pair of the old jars from her house). Not necessarily related to that, she lived till 103 years and made her errands riding her bike at that age!
@SW-User Yes, I´ve tried it, here and visiting Italy (long ago). Not TOO bad. But mild for my coffee related taste (like its good when coffee don´t fall out of the mug when it is up side down 😁).

😂😂😂
Damn. Mate is your best friend then
Never had it myself. I once had a coffee alternative made of figs, guarana and barely. It was surprisingly good. Rich and nutty. I believe it's different from the Italian stuff. How about hot chocolate!
@SW-User Mate is special, so with friends as being alone.
I LOVE hot chocolate. Specially in Winter (we are here now at Spring in our way to Summer). Though, I restrict it´s frequency as it promotes a trend to grow...horizontally. 😊
