I Have Something to Say

I believe men are protectors.
As men we are given strength to stand for what we believe. We are given a physical nature that can be used to protect and love or destroy.
I want to leave a legacy of people who I helped, of people I guarded from harm.
I want to be a man who loves deeply and truly. Who is not afraid to display weakness, but knows he is strong.
I want to be a man that proves my masculinity by being gentle and respectful to women. Who proves my heritage by making her feel safe in my arms and comforted by my touch. I want to make her quiver and tingle in the most innocent and wonderful ways.
I will demonstrate my strength by standing up for the weak. By speaking kindly when I don't want to. By listening to both sides of the story.

I want to be a sheepdog, and the very best version of myself. I want to continually grow and learn. I desire knowledge and a level head. I want to be the person who remains calm and collected when the world around me is tangled in flames and in chaos.

I respect men who can problem solve within chaos.
I respect ANYONE who can solve a problem within chaos these days. Seems like most people just stir up more mess.

@Misty71: I agree Misty. I didn't mean to exclude women. He was referring to himself and I know from our PM's that he is male. Women actually tend to be problem solvers more often than men from my past experience.
@Fungirlmmm: That depends on the problem ;)
@Fungirlmmm: I think a lot of men would disagree with you there, Fungirl. Don't women just wallow in their feelings while men find solutions to problems? 🤔😉
@Misty71: There are certainly problem solvers and wallowers on both sides of the court. ;)
@Misty71: Maybe I should make a I believe woman are.....

But I am kind of under qualified to make such a post...also I might get some heat.

I come from a long line of problem solvers. If my toilet tears up I don't sit around and wait on a guy to fix it. I get on the net and figure out what I need ti,e to fix it. I think with older generations maybe that was the case but not so much the younger generations.
@MarsSword: There are also stereotypical male and female problem solving styles, collaborative v. authoritarian, for example. IMHO, its usually a mix of both, and knowing the right time that works best.
@Fungirlmmm: Good for you. I'm the only one in my family who thinks that way. The rest, male or female, just want to call a plumber.
@Fungirlmmm: I am a fix it or learn how to kind of person.

No way. Plumbers are too expensive. :)
