If someone makes no effort to get in touch with you, always letting you be the one to make contact, then either they don't want to talk to you or they don't deserve to talk to you.

Don't be that guy/girl. Dignity is easier to lose than it is to gain back.

In my case I keep leaving sites I stay in contact with a real friend I've known for 15 years on the Internet.
They probably think I'm trying to get away from them, but it's just last site I followed him from was Twitter, and I hate the set up.
We still stay in touch through email and I at times initiate the conversation.
