I Have Something to Say

[c=#359E00] Anonymousity must be exterminated from internet. There must be somekind of ID that show people's face and address and any personal info to make them behave.[/c]

[c=#359E00]This way people Will think twice before talking, just like real life.. people know how to shut up because they fear someone will punch them[/c]

Such online identification is and would be painfully easy to fake.
@SooperSarah [c=#359E00]it can be solved by linking it to their citizenship ID[/c]
@YukikoAmagi the link can be faked. The actual citizenship ID can be faked. Forcing such a mandate would only make it easier and easier to fake who you are because the demand for that fake identity will skyrocket, the supply will quickly follow.
@SooperSarah [c=#359E00]you can fake citizenship ID? I didn't know that, here that kind of thing is impossible[/c]
@YukikoAmagi I guarantee you it's not impossible. You do bring up another problem. The internet is worldwide. How are you going to enforce a universal worldwide id?
Countries can't keep track of who is in their country walking down the street. You think we can control who is on the internet?
@SooperSarah [c=#359E00]i think.. if those smart guy and important people work together on this then they can find the solution to banish anonymousity from the internet, i'm sure of it, they just haven't tried. I still think that this is important[/c]

@SooperSarah Worldwide ID?? We don't even have a National ID here in the USA. That's right, @YukikoAmagi, you talk about a Citizenship ID, but there is no such thing in America.

Personally, I am in favor of anonymous sites like SW. Facebook is the site for verified ID (verified through mutual friendships). If I were forced to verify my identity, I would not be here.
@sarabee1995 [c=#359E00]but anonymousity give protection for people talk as they like without thinking of other people[/c]
@sarabee1995 The US is trying to standardize the id a bit. Isn't that what the new "real id" is all about? I don't know much about it since my state is on its like 8th extension to implement it.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@SooperSarah Yeah, my home state doesn't want to implement it either. But will it include citizenship info?
@sarabee1995 I have no idea what all goes into it. I've heard almost nothing about it since moving here.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@SooperSarah Yup. There's a lot of anti Federal ID card sentiment in the US, and the "Real ID" is basically a federal ID issued by the states.
