I understand your conservative background and that even though Don Lemon clearly doesn’t say what you claim that he says you hear something different. My thoughts are because of our backgrounds we tend to shape the narrative.

The story Lemon was talking about is the dangerous rhetoric coming from the President which has spun up the right to literally attack minorities, hate the Press (and question the Constitution which guarantees a free and unencumbered free media), and in this most recent case push a demented individual over the edge to kill 11 elderly Jews.....the word “invaders”, exactly what the President so wrongly claims about a caravan of desperate individuals hundreds of miles from our border ....fresh on this psycho’s lips. Yet not a single objecting word from Conservatives.

Indeed Lemon was right and was purposely misquoted by the right to further agitate and enrage.
