I Have Something to Say

For all those people upset about the way illegal immigrant families and children are treated at the border, what do you think should be done instead. There are many faces to the crisis happening at our Mexican border, but all we see in the headlines are emotional commentators and politicians with pictures of crying children and cages. Instead of the emotions, how about suggesting solutions. Just suggesting that families not be separated is only half of a solution, so if that's your first half can you also please share the second half of your solution?

(1) What should the border patrol do with families where the parents cannot provide evidence that the children are their children?

(2) What should the border patrol do with children who aren't accompanied by their parents?

(3) What should the border patrol do with children if their parents are known criminals?

(4) What should the border patrol do with children if their parents are repeat illegal entrants?

(5) What steps should the border patrol take to keep the families together if the parents are arrested and charged with crimes?

Their own country, their own people - why are they not taken care by their own kind? ???

Fix their own country then they don't have to cross a border, all the list above won't be needed.

Help them to restore and be prosper, then they don't have to leave. Stop the corruption in South America, then they can grow produce and feed themselves.

Else this endless leaving will go on and on

@SoFine Yes, but there are 250 kids arriving every day, being apprehended by the border patrol. What should our government be doing with them?
