I have my groceries delivered (Peapod). It's worth the delivery fee to get it done in the comfort of your home...they will come in any kind of weather - I have had them delivered the day after a snowstorm - and they may even ask you "Where can I put these for you?" I usually have him put frozen/refrigerated bags in the kitchen sink and my Coke cases on the counter space meant for them. The rest can go on the kitchen floor and I can handle it. All you need is to choose a two hour window (I like 6:00 to 8:00 AM) and secure any dogs or cats (I have neither) before they get to your house. Ob, and sign after receipt.
