@Shine I'm watching the press conference right now. It's a declaration of intent. No verification. No dates. No targets.

I think its silly to think there would be a big deal on the first try, between two countries who have been enemies for generations.

@Mikemcneil Its putting everything they’ve been saying about peace and all that on paper so it isn’t just words. I think its a ok start. better than not showing up at all.

It makes a more comfortable and reassuring environment for kim jong un and the people threatened by war. that increases stability in the region.

Having the deal on paper even small is better than words or tweets.

@Mikemcneil Lets not forget that the only person who lies as much as Trump is his newest Korean best buddy. Any deal with him isn't worth the paper it hasn't been written on yet.

@Shine Kim Jong Un is a dictator who happily tortures and kills his own citizens. Nothing has changed there. Trump has refused to speak out on human rights abuses. Trump is complicit in legitimising that dictatorship. What's to celebrate?

Like I said, you can’t expect much change from a first deal between two countries that were enemies and threatening all out war just this year.

I am happy as long as they aren’t making my continent their next battleground.
