It's very sad. He had an 11 yr. old daughter, which makes it especially hard to understand why he would take his own life.

I seriously cried. My heart sunk. His stories, his travels were just the best. He was in the middle of shooting a show in France. What happened that made him want to commit suicide? @JohnnyThePizzaGuy

I have watched his shows since I was a kid and he really opened up the mysterious world and was such a bold personality. He had such a rock and roll coolness about him and an independent spirit that I always admired. It has deeply saddened me to hear of his passing. There must have been some terrible unseen pain within him. I can only imagine.

Well... he wasn’t my hero...

He’s never done anything for me.

But of all the people I hate on tv. I hated him the least.

An I’ll miss his tv shows.
