I Have Something to Say

I did not even know Trump had a TV Network.

Anyway, I didn’t watch more then 4 minutes of this video. You might enjoy it though.

What a child. "Do you give me credit for that?"

@UndeadPrivateer He is that. He attended a military academy and I’m wondering if they taught him what a great leader should do.

Do Generals in the military give themselves credit for a job well done? When a mission is done, does the leader say, “I did it”?

@SimplyTracie A strong leader should proclaim their triumph, not ask for it. Demanding the recognition of others speaks to an underlying insecurity in one's accomplishments. 🤷

@UndeadPrivateer I’m not even sure a good leader should tout their own success. Maybe he could say, “We did it”
Like a coach, do they say, “I did it” after winning a game?

@SimplyTracie A strong leader also never personally takes credit, for they should understand they are merely one piece of a larger machine. A good leader empowers those beneath them, they lead. In this case that should look something like adding to the UN General, "Thanks to the efforts of the United States we have made good progress on this front and hope to continue the trend into the future to a greater and more secure tomorrow."

That'd require Trump getting past his narcissism at least to a small degree though, which I don't see happening.

@UndeadPrivateer I agree. And you’re right about continuing the trend.
I’m not sure but maybe Nikki Haley had a small part in its success too.

@SimplyTracie I think all of Trump's successes in office are purely due to the work done by others, personally. It's how he ran things in his business life prior to the presidency, I see no reason for that to have changed.
