I Have Something to Say

Dear, I want you to please put these at the back of your mind, the centre of your heart, & the front of your eyes: We love Him because[b]He first[/b] loved us. - 1 John 4:19
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that [b]while we were still sinners[/b], Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

Even the astounding apostle Paul had His own monet of fear, yet God's response was not "I hate you" or "you must strengthen yourself, Paul!"; rather, He said, "My grace is sufficient for you", & "cast your burdens on me.".
Same it was for other mighty men of scripture: David; Elijah; Job; Peter. Even Jesus!
Yet, in spite of their fear, the same route did they all take - not to, from fear, give in to doubt & unbelief, but to call on God & test in His word.

Faith, my dear, is not the absence of fear, but the choice to trust God despite the fear.
Because Peter had faith (despite the fear which surrounded him/the storm), he was able to walk on water. Not because of Jesus there, but because He chose to trust, when Jesus said "Come". But the moment he allowed his fear drown his faith/trust, he began to sink.
And it is true, without faith it is impossible to please God.
Yet, God Himself calls out to us, willing & yearning to increase & strengthen our love for Him & our faith.

"Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, [b]I believe; help my unbelief![/b]” - Mark 9:23‭-‬24

So never feel like you are less than in God's eyes because you are weak. Rather, like David, & Christ, in your moment of weakness, call out to Him. Do not sulk; do not take on self-pity; only pray & cast your burdens on Him.
