I Have Something to Say

Their last night was poetic I guess.
They sat in silence for hours next to each other but so far apart. He was on his phone and she had her face in her pillow fighting tears because keep down she knew it was over. He finally looked over to her and asked " are we going to talk" and she calmly spoke " what's the point" She was tired of talking he didn't care. He went back to his phone and she put on music, feeling a tightness in her throat as the words hit " if this is my last night with you hold me like I'm more than just a friend" she held her tears like a champ. Because she knew he didn't care if she cried. He didn't know how to care.... He told her to sleep and she shook her head no. When she finally laid down he wrapped his arm around her and tears slowly fell from her face, he held her all night. And she cried all night The next day it was quiet they didn't speak a word ... Till He called her and said he was leaving...And she lost the little piece of heart she had left.
