I Have Something to Say

CW: Suicide

An old friend of mine killed himself last week. We hadn't been close in years but I knew he was depressed. I could see it in his face and when I saw him at the grocery store I asked him if he wanted to talk. He said no and I understand why. It's not like normal sadness. It's the feeling of prolonged hopelessness for your life. He was a good person and I was sad.

There is a story.
There were 2 dogs.

One dog was roaming and it came across a castle. The dog went in. Inside of the castle was made up entirely of small glass pieces. 4"×4" mapped together. So the dog sees 14000 look alike dogs. He becomes nervous. HE THINKS SO MANY DOGS MEANS SO MANY ENEMIES. He barks slowly. The echo comes modified. The dog gets more horrified. He again barks louder and it's echo gets amplified thousand times making it unbearable for him to stand in.

The second dog went inside the same castle and saw the same dogs. He thought SO MANY FRIENDS .he started wagging it's tail. And the next scene was so wonderful. Can you believe how many friends he had?

Moral - You are alone in this world. For the world to be a better place, Feel like the whole world is the image of yourself. Be positive and the world will be positive.

Depression is a very difficult and complex situation. People don't think with their normal logic and therefore anything can happen.
Been there, done that (not the suicide of course lol)
So sorry to hear about your friend.

@Magnolia yes , things are better though sometimes I have my down periods and need to pull myself up.

Ooh.. I wanna help people who feel such hopelessness.. I always like helping them I try everything to give new hope in their life...i done that too
If people find such people in their area please help them.. First they will not like to talk but if we try to communicate and help them so they don't feel alone.. They will get hope in their life again and they will not commit suicide!
