I Have Something to Say

Doubting Thomas has had a poor reputation in all history as the disciple that doubted Jesus after the resurrection, however I think we should all be more like Thomas. You see Thomas went down into the books as the one who doubted but that is not because he was the only one who had doubts, he was the only one who actually admitted it. Matthew 28:17 says that when the disciples saw Jesus after He had risen, they worshipped Him, but some doubted. We all have questions about God, His creation, and areas of the Bible that we don't quite understand. Instead of being like the disciples that masked their doubt and pretended to understand everything, I encourage us to be honest with ourselves and God just as Thomas was. We should not follow Christ on blind faith, so if there are areas of uncertainty and doubt in your heart, I encourage you to have the courage to ask and seek answers because it is in this way that we deepen our understanding of Christ and strengthen our relationship with our Savior. #HonestThomas

All religions rely on an act of faith.
Which kinda ensures their downfall from the get go !
I don't doubt that if Jesus did exist he was clearly a character possessed of love for his fellow man.
And that message is a good one.
But as far as people living for hundreds of years; burning bushes that spoke; parting a mass of water allowing folk to walk across seas; water into wine etc. call me a 'doubter'.

LOL. You might like to rethink that advice, unless you're trying to drive people away from christianity.

I had doubts when I was a christian so I sought the answers. That's why I ceased being a christian, I was able to see through all christianity's lies and deceit.

@suzie1960 I wish I could do that - have that moment of realisation, but I've never believed in any religion (originally because my parents didn't).

When I look at religions, I find it simply impossible to imagine believing any of them. I will never experience that moment of enlightenment that a lifelong religious belief is not true.
