I Have Something to Say

So we can put a man on the moon, we can calculate distances to billions of light-years, we have built pyramids, great walls and space ships.

All of these great feats... but we cannot stop telemarketers from calling our phones. 4 house calls so far today, others to my mobile... I'm on the laughing-joke "DO NOT CALL" list...

Surely this can't be as hard as the eradication of smallpox?

One of my fun little tricks was to answer and set the phone down then go about my business until I hear that siren sound indicating the receiver off the hook.

@CCMorgan I had all kinds of tricks when I used a landline. You can pretend to be deaf, or almost. Irritates the crap out of them to be asked repeatedly to repeat. lol I;ve actually had them hang up on me.
