Woman, because he is timid and placid, you exploit & abuse him? There is no virtue in you. Your beauty has left you, & your grace forever departed; because you would raise hell on him - in all vociferous manner, emasculating him - and for lack of fear in your heart, you dare strike your palm against his cheeks.
You do not honour your head, and the head of your house. Would you rather then that he be exhanged for a type different to him? A mad man - a coward - who would pin you to the wall, raining blows on you?
Repent! Respect your husband, & honour him. Show due reverence to the father of your children (and they will learn from you and bless you).
A foolish woman lights a fire in her bosom, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
