I Have Something to Say

Darkness, cold, and death
Winter is coming
With icy fingers that
Clutch at your wrist and
Drag you down
To dark depths of
Depression.

And then unexpectedly
A glimmer glows and
Lights your life
Illuminates love and
Warms the heart and
Lifts the soul
Out of frozen black
Toward heaven.

This reminds me of another quote:

@SW-User but in the same poem Blake also wrote:

Love seeketh only itself to please
To bind another to its delight
Joys in another's loss of ease,
And builds a hell in heaven's despite.
