So sad that society has made people think that if you have a beard you look lazy or homeless and now a hipster.. It's so much more natural over men you shave their faces every day

If they spent less time having sex and going to investigate where weird noises are coming from, they might survive in horror movies

Well, you must agree that there are some guys bringing the beard into disrepute, I'm talking about the chaps wearing no socks, with overpriced haircuts. Don't forget the scruffy oiks, who won't shave implying that they've part of the "scene ", but in fact they are just lazy.

Arh I cant agree with you more. While I dont care groomed nice beards, there is a funny fashion going on right now, whispch is actually nothing more than being lazy. I used to have a stubble, just beacuse I hate beard fashion, I started a clean shave.. I can't follow the herd, you know

I don't really like the fashion beard guys either. That's just not the same. That's like backpackers pretending to be travellers instead of tourists (and still going back to their regular life after their trip). :)

There's many different reasons to grow a beard. Some grow it to hide acne and scars. Some grow because they think it looks nice. Some do it because another thinks it looks nice. Some grow it to keep warm. Some like the feel.

How pretentious of you, trying to tell people how to look and carry themselves. Quite the ironic post you composed there.

Beards are not a new thing or a fashion statement. It has always been natural for men to have beards. It's not a matter of why some grow a beard. It's a matter of why some shave it off. That's something you'd need a reason for. I don't have one and never did.
Some people may look and act ridiculous in the eyes of others but, when that is just a fashion statement, it'll blow over anyway. That's not a reason to lash out at all beards around you. Again: beards are a natural feature of men. We don't all try to be something else.

Yea, I don't shave because my wife pretty much won't let me. She likes it, and that's what matters the most to me.

Thank you. I was wondering if I was the only one that noticed how many guys have beards now. Then there are the tv commercials with the guy who hasn't shave in a couple days and I wouldn't buy anything from him.
I have no beard, shave every dang day. But I do have long hair and it has been cut for the last time.I was reborn a hippy in 1966 and will die a longhaired freak. But no beard please.

ive had a beard for 20 years, my wife prefers it over shaven, its not natural to shave your hair off your body, i hope more men have beards

Men have beards, and we don't all have wives who prefer us to resemble our mother-in-law. I'd worry more about that.
If you choose to conform to other ideals when it comes to facial hair, I won't tell you to be like me. I don't need affirmation that much. I'm ok with my own choices. We differ. What's the problem?

Or maybe they like to grow a beard out every now and then. Break away from keeping it trimmed and tamed, for a bit. Like me, I like my trimmed goatee, but it's also nice to just let it grow wild for a bit. lmao
