@SW-User Sorry, I meant more along the lines of being able to use it in water related activities with out hesitation. I have seen the water testing and it seems to be geared towards accidental dropping in water which is still great.

Physical strength, longevity, and long term reliability aren't within Apple's strategy.
They are in the business of selling prestige based branded items. Not a truely innovative or quality product. They sell a logo with a corporate created theme and personality and that's it. Not a truly well made and designed product.
