I Have Something to Say

Do you want to know what hurts? You spend 15 years being a mom and a wife. Taking care of everything for the family. When your kid has to interview 8 people careers it's like you didn't accomplish anything in your life. The activity actually gets hidden from you and you have to find out from a witch trying to rub it in who all got interviewed. Yes I know being a mother is not considered a career and have been working very hard since the divorce. If you are going to get on here to blast me don't bother. I feel bad enough as it is. I just needed to vent.

I would say being a mother and homemaker is one of the biggest jobs in the world. Most today dump their kids in daycare see them an hour in the evening

After my father's death when was only six months old my Mother rise nine children by herself never remarried.
Never gave us what we wanted,but always gave us what we need.
You've a career that most cannot phantom, and will have priceless memories.

@Gamma87 Thank You! I think one of my major issues is it was my sister who was making the jabs at me. She always been jealous I got to stay at home with my kids.

Not much of a support sister at times I take being hurt by a stranger better than a family member.

Being a mom is a big job! Anyone who says it isn't hasn't been up at 1:30 in the morning changing a dirty butt, feeding, and rocking to sleep. Or had to have eyes in the back of their head to catch a stealth child before they injure themselves, or snuggled a sick baby. Or done the 3 loads of laundry a day, or tried to keep the house clean, or tried to make dinner, while taking the nail polish away from a curious toddler...
