I Have Something to Say

This is a follow-up to my first post. My wife received a diagnosis today. She has cancer. She's survived cancer before, and I know she'll pull through this one. Even though I had prepared for bad news, it still hit me pretty hard. I guess you can't prepare for that kind of stuff. She has surgery next week. All I can do is cross my fingers and stay by her side.

I am sorry to hear your bad news. What kind of cancer did she have before? What is her prognosis now? You can be as prepared as possible and it still is harder than you might predict. You sound so supportive and caring. And you are so young the two of you. I hope they remove it all and she heals quickly with you at her side.

@PoetryNEmotion The cancer is on her kidney and some surrounding areas. There are some suspicious areas on her lung, but they can check it out later on.
