I Have Something to Say

This is a follow-up to my first post. My wife received a diagnosis today. She has cancer. She's survived cancer before, and I know she'll pull through this one. Even though I had prepared for bad news, it still hit me pretty hard. I guess you can't prepare for that kind of stuff. She has surgery next week. All I can do is cross my fingers and stay by her side.

I'm sorry to hear of her diagnosis. It's great you're going to stay by her side to support her. She is going to need you. I hope you have friends and family to support you through this as well. I know first hand how hard it is when you have no support at all and have to do it all on your own.

@MojoJojo That is good to hear. I am sure you're going to need them. Stay strong for your wife and I hope she is able to beat this. At least cancer is a disease that has some hope.

@gmatthewb She's strong. She's beat it before. She assured us that she'll be home by Saturday to watch football.
